Sarah Robbins
Q: Why do you love beer?
A: There are so many different styles and flavors!
Q: What kind of beer are you brewing?
A: I'm making a Mango Kolsch. I wanted something light, crisp and fruity since it's always so hot at Kegs for the Cure.
Q: Are you brewing in honor of anyone? Would you like to say anything about their story?
A: I'm brewing in honor of my mother in law, Mary Robbins. She battled (and beat!) cancer the past few years and I'm very proud of her strength.
Q: Are you new to brewing or an experienced hand? How long have you been brewing for KFTC?
A: My brother Gordon (the Kegs for the Cure co-founder) got me into brewing. I continue to learn so much from him about the craft. This year I brewed my beer with my brother and my Dad, which was a really fun experience.
Q: Do you have any favorite memories, interesting opinions, or otherwise notable things to relate about your love for brewing?
A: This is my third year brewing for KFTC!
Q: What is your favorite beer or style?
A: I'm really into easy-drinking IPAs and not-too-sweet fruit beers right now.
Q: Anything else you’d like to say?
A: Kegs for the Cure is one my favorite events of the Summer. I look forward to seeing what the other brewers are making; there are some PHENOMENAL beers at this event. I can't wait to try them!
